It is not a recruiter, employer, staffing agency, career counselor, licensed advisor, or fiduciary, and it does not provide legal, financial, tax, immigration, or other professional advice. Nothing produced by the Service is professional advice, and nothing it says creates a professional relationship of any kind. If you need professional advice, consult a qualified professional.
No guarantee of outcome
Fit scores, dossiers, rankings, salary ranges, hiring-manager signals, and generated materials are estimates produced by automated and AI systems from third-party data. CareerHawk does not guarantee any interview, offer, hire, response, salary, promotion, or other outcome, and does not guarantee that any posting is current, legitimate, or filled honestly by the employer. All decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.
Accuracy of job data
Job postings, company details, salary bands, funding signals, and hiring information are aggregated from publicly available third-party sources and may be outdated, incomplete, duplicated, mislabeled, misattributed, or inaccurate. Postings may be closed, altered, reposted, or entirely fabricated ("ghost jobs") without notice. Always verify a posting, its status, and its requirements directly with the employer or the original source before applying, quitting a job, relocating, or otherwise relying on it.
AI-generated content
Tailored resumes, cover letters, interview prep, STAR stories, negotiation notes, and follow-up drafts are produced by large-language-model providers. AI output can be inaccurate, biased, or fabricated ("hallucinated"), including inventing employers, dates, titles, achievements, or requirements. Every generated document is a draft for you to review and edit. You are solely responsible for the truth of everything you submit to any employer, recruiter, or third party. Do not submit AI-generated content you have not verified.
You control every submission
CareerHawk never submits an application, message, or document to any employer or third party on your behalf without your explicit, per-item action. Any application, email, or message you send is your own communication with that third party.
No affiliation with employers or ATS providers
CareerHawk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any employer or any applicant-tracking system, including but not limited to Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workable, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters, and Workday. Company names, product names, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and reference.
No employment or contractual relationship with employers
Using CareerHawk does not create an employment, agency, or contractual relationship between you and any employer displayed in the Service, or between CareerHawk and any employer. Your interactions with employers are strictly between you and them, governed by their own terms.
Your responsibility when applying
You are responsible for:
- the truth and accuracy of every resume, cover letter, application, and message you submit;
- complying with the terms of every third-party site you interact with (including anti-automation, anti-scraping, and application-quantity limits);
- your work authorization, licensing, and any other legal requirements for the roles you pursue; and
- your own decisions about which roles to apply to, accept, or decline.
